Annual Neuroscience Retreat

An especially popular event is the Annual Neuroscience Retreat, which is held each fall at a lodge in the countryside near St. Louis. This well-attended event includes a mixture of academic, social, and outdoor activities in a relaxed setting and attractive environment. The informal atmosphere encourages interactions among students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty from different departments and different subdisciplines.

The 2008 Neuroscience Retreat will be held October 3 (Friday) at the Trout Lodge, YMCA of the OZARKS, Potosi, MO. The format will include student-postdoc-new faculty talks, a poster session, a party, and two keynote speakers  The Retreat is open free of charge to Washington University Neuroscience faculty, postdocs and students. The entire scientific program will be held on Saturday, but everyone is welcome to spend the night Saturday and join in or observe the Faculty vs. Students & Postdocs volleyball competition on Sunday.

.
